Based out of the IE in Southern California, band members have been playing, individually, for over a decade. Recently they decided to pool their talents to form the RIVERSIDE BLUES CLUB. A band that takes the influences of blues, rock, and a little soul to create a sound that respects the tradition of the blues and gives it a contemporary twist. Listening to the Riverside Blues Club you will hear the songs of Eric Clapton, Albert King, The Impressions, John Mayer and even some Guns N' Roses thrown into the mix.
In the effort to pass on the love for The Blues, the Riverside Blues Club has adopted the phrase, “Nobody leaves without singing the blues.” At every show they pull someone out of their seat to create a new blues song… “What are you blue about tonight… let’s sing about it,” says John to a somewhat expecting bystander from the crowd. It creates a fun interaction with the crowd and pulls them further into The Blues.
